Lori Block
I'm a consultant. But also an avid swimmer. A world traveler. A dog lover. An insatiable learner and reader. Like you, a human, and I bring my humanity to all that I do in service to my clients.
Throughout my 25+-year consulting career I've focused on HR, total rewards and wellbeing, stakeholder engagement, the employee experience, and more recently (and equipped with certification) at the intersection of HR and Corporate Social Responsibility (aka ESG). In so doing, I've always strived to prioritize the individual while serving the needs of my clients and the organizations they serve.
A blogger and published author, I'm also a frequent public speaker, addressing the spectrum of HR and total rewards at a range of organization events, including actuarial, total rewards, and heath care. In '14, I was named a "Most Influential Woman in Benefit Advising."

Rachael Melton
I'm a consultant like my other colleagues here. But more importantly, I'm a "heavy lifter." I'm the person that's often behind the scenes, making sure projects are on time, on budget, and on the level my clients deserve.
I enjoy digging into the details, and explaining those details to employees, whether through enrollment materials, compliance documents, plan guides, and training materials, as well as by facilitating employee meetings.
I'm also well-versed in adult learning theory, technical training development/delivery, and organizational development.
And not only can I talk tech, but I can do some tech work, too. From website maintenance to email list development and management, from social media and online marketing to project management, I've got you covered.

I’ve worked side-by-side with Lori for many years, collaborating on a variety of assignments and initiatives. Renewing our collaboration at emHrge provides me with the opportunity to apply my expertise in service to our clients and their employees – serving them in a manner that's consistent with my values and the values of The Worshipful Company of Management Consultants, a London-based organisation to which I belong.
Based in the UK, I bring extensive experience working across the European continent, as well as with global project teams. With over 20 years in management and HR consulting I love supporting organisations that are transforming, growing, and changing fast, bringing a range of competencies in tech, transformation, and both change and project management.
When not doing all that, I enjoy fixing up the centuries-old house that I call home.
